DEVELOPMENT EDITION
Call for Submissions 2025 | Open
REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
Those who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:
- Not having more than two feature films (of a duration equal to or more than 45 minutes) made.
- Resident of Spain.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Not having been selected in the 2024 edition of SEMILLERU Lab.
REGISTRATION | SEMILLERU LAB DEVELOPMENT
Registration and selection
Registration is free.
The call will be open from the 10th to the 24th of October of 2025 until 23:59 h CET (peninsular time).
Only applications submitted through the platform INCOPRODUCTION will be accepted. Applicants should register in the platform before completing the online form and attaching all of the solicited documentation, which will include:
- Dossier of the project (short or feature film) of maximum 8 pages in pdf format* in Castellano or English, that includes:
- Synopsis.
- Visual and formal processes.
- Statement of intentions.
- Biofilmography of the director, writer and/or producer (if applicable).
- Curriculum of the production company (if applicable).
- Technical and artistic aspects of the project.
- Current state of the project and its needs.
- Timeline.
- Estimated budget and plan for financing.
- Images of the project and/or visual references.
- Links to previous work (if applicable).
*The front and back covers do not count towards the limit of 8 pages.

ENDOWMENT AND AWARDS
To be selected in the SEMILLERU Lab program entails:
Presentation of the selected projects to the program’s jury and to the industry professionals present at 63FICX.
Individual meetings with industry professionals.
Accreditation and access to the round tables, info sessions and activities of SEMILLERU.
63FICX Accreditation that permits access to screenings and activities.
Once the project is selected, SEMILLERU Lab covers the following expenses:
- Round trip from city of origin (within Spanish territory) to Gijón/Xixón for one person representing each selected project.
- Accommodations from the 16th to the 21st of November of 2025 for one person representing each selected project.
- Per diem and meals provided for one person per project throughout the duration of the stay covered by FICX.
Awards for SEMILLERU Lab Development:
- SEMILLERU Development Lab Award will be awarded to one of the selected projects with a gross endowment of 2.000 euros.
- Impulso ECAM Award consists of personalized advice to the winning project based on its specific needs at the hands of a professional from the industry connected with the Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid (ECAM).
INCOPRODUCTION Award consists of a Pro Subscription to the audiovisual matchmaking program INCOPRODUCTION for a year, with the objective of facilitating the search for partners for the financing, development, production and distribution of the winning project as well as other projects of the winner.

REGISTRATION | SEMILLERU LAB POST-PRODUCTION EDITION
Registration is free.
The call will be open from the 10th to the 24th of October of 2025 until 23:59 h CET (peninsular time).
Only applications submitted through the platform INCOPRODUCTION will be accepted. Applicants should register in the platform before completing the online form and attaching all of the solicited documentation, which will include:

- Link to view the work-in-progress or material filmed to date (maximum duration of 50 minutes, if selected the cut should have a maximum duration of 40 minutes)

ENDOWMENT AND AWARDS
Modalidad | Post-Producción
To be selected in the SEMILLERU Lab program entails:
- Presentation of the selected projects to the program’s jury and to the industry professionals present at 63FICX.
- Individual meetings with industry professionals.
- Accreditation and access to the round tables, info sessions and activities of SEMILLERU.
- 63FICX Accreditation that permits access to screenings and activities.
Expenses covered by SEMILLERU Lab:
- Round trip from city of origin (within Spanish territory) to Gijón/Xixón for one person representing each selected project.
- Accommodations from the 16th to the 21st of November of 2025 for one person representing each selected project.
- Per diem and meals provided for one person per project throughout the duration of the stay covered by FICX.
Awards for SEMILLERU Lab Post-production:
- SEMILLERU Lab Post-production Award will be awarded to one of the selected projects with a gross endowment of 2.000 euros.
- Subtitulam Award consists of a translation (to English, French or Italian, based on an original or translation in Spanish) + subtitled and created in a DCP with those subtitles.
- WELAW Award consists of 10 hours of free legal advice for one of the participating projects that the firm will select.
